Definition 6 Launches Unified Communications Group

HIRES FORMER MARKETING DIRECTOR JEREMY PORTER TO LEAD GROUP

Definition 6, a Unified Marketing Agency, announced the launch of its Unified Communications Group. The Unified Communications Group will operate as a global practice for the agency. While client programs will be managed from the Atlanta, New York, San Francisco or London offices, the team will also execute content marketing, influencer communications and social media marketing programs from local operations centers in Beijing, Mumbai and Munich when required. Jeremy Porter, 15-year strategic communications veteran and Definition 6's former director of marketing, has rejoined the agency to lead the new group.

The launch of Definition 6's Unified Communications Group comes just months after the agency announced its acquisition of Synaptic Digital, known for its broadcast media communication services and the global content distribution network  TheNewsMarket.com, an active community where more than 36,000 journalists engage with brands for the latest broadcast-friendly news content. Porter is an experienced digital communications strategist with more than a decade of experience helping brands craft and deliver their messages to audiences large and small. Having led strategic communications programs for more than 100 clients in both B2B and B2C market segments, Porter has a broad range of experience to pull from when helping clients adapt their messaging to accomplish strategic business objectives. While Porter has diverse agency experience that includes serving as Definition 6's former director of marketing and founder of tech boutique agency Reaction Marketing Group, Porter most recently worked on the client-side as Director of Marketing for mFoundry, the leading mobile banking and payments software company in the U.S.

Synaptic Digital UK Rebrands as Definition 6

Synaptic Digital, recently acquired by Definition 6 and owner and operator of www.TheNewsMarket.com, announced today that its London office has officially rebranded as Definition 6.  Matt Thomson will continue to run the office as Managing Director, International Business for Definition 6.

As the European headquarters, the London office will now be able to offer its global brand clients the full suite of the agency's unified marketing strategies that include a robust approach of reaching audiences with brand content at the right time with the right message, through the alignment of marketing and technology.
