Definition 6 Expands Its Marketing Communications Department In New York With New Hire Rachel Conforti
Definition 6, a unified
marketing agency, today announced it has hired Rachel Conforti, 33,
as its senior marketing communications manager based in New York,
expanding the company's presence into the New York market.
Conforti will be responsible for the company's external and
internal marketing communications, including public relations,
securing speaking opportunities for key company executives and
social media initiatives. She will be reporting directly to
Chris Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer.
Conforti comes to Definition 6 from Tremor Media, where she was
responsible for its external facing marketing communications since
October 2009. Prior to that, she was in the corporate
marketing department at 24/7 Real Media from December 2006, where
she was a critical member for the team for the company's website
re-launch, corporate event planning, public relations, and global
branding efforts.
"Rachel's proven track record, thought-leader planning
initiatives, and knowledge of the digital media space in New York
make her an excellent fit for this position," says Chris Thornton,
CMO. "We are looking to grow our company's footprint into New
York and we feel confident that Rachel has what it takes to get us
there."
Conforti joins the fast-growing team at Definition 6,
headquartered in Atlanta, with its post-production, motion graphics
and PR communications groups based in New York. She began her
career in out-of-home advertising at TDI, Inc., which later became
Viacom Outdoor and eventually, CBS Outdoor. Conforti currently
serves on the PR committee for Advertising Women of New York
(AWNY).
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and
Rhetoric from Binghamton University in 1999, and currently resides
in Manhattan.
