Definition 6 Wins AiMA Awards for Recent Online Video Campaign
Definition 6, an integrated interactive agency, today announced
it won two awards in the 2010 AiMA Awards competition.
Definition 6 earned the "Most Effective Video Campaign" award for
The Coca-Cola "Happiness Machine" video it produced. The "Happiness
Machine" video also shared the "People's Choice" award honors at
this year's ceremony.
The Coca-Cola "Happiness Machine" video, which can be seen on YouTube
here, has been viewed more than 2.2 million times to
date.
"The 'Happiness Machine' video was one of our favorite projects to
work on to date," said Michael Kogon, CEO of Definition 6. "While
we believe the creative concept was a winner from the onset of the
campaign, it was really the genuine surprise and happiness captured
in the video that made it such a hit with fans and the client
alike."
Definition 6 shot the video in early December at St. John's
University. The crew set up a modified Coca-Cola vending machine
overnight. When unsuspecting college students went to make a
purchase the following day, they were surprised with small 'doses
of happiness' ranging from flowers and balloon animals to a piping
hot pizza and a six-foot sub.
"Imagine if you went up to a vending machine and a six-foot sub
came out," adds Kogon. "How could you do anything other than
laugh?"
